A 3D letter sculpture spelling Queens,

with its tagline, “The World’s Borough,"

celebrates Queens’ diversity of people and cultures.

Queens is a mosaic of America’s rich and vibrant multicultural history. We need a sculpture that pays tribute to Queens’ ethnic and cultural contributions to New York City and the rest of the country. It is absolutely the best borough in the greatest city in the world. Let's celebrate Queens!

Queens, The World's Borough

The large 3D letter sculpture will be street level and easily approachable. Friends and family, children and adults, residents and visitors will be able to pose together to take photos to share. It will be a popular meeting spot, bringing joy and smiles.

Queens' population of 2.2 million people holds the Guinness World Record for the "Most diverse urban area on the planet." 48% of its residents are born outside of the United States. There are 190 nationalities represented with 360 languages and dialects spoken here. It is a microcosm of the world.

The Queens 3D sculpture symbolizes the diversity of people from different ethnicities and cultures who have chosen to live together in Queens and share their ideas, dreams, history, food, and customs.
